We didn’t set out to start a tour company. We just really loved exceptional food, inspiring architecture… and, well, paying rent.
In 2019, as Qatar’s construction boom eased ahead of the World Cup, my full-time role as an architect had come to a halt. Freelance projects weren’t enough to justify staying in my apartment overlooking the canals of The Pearl. Rather than relocate, I chose to build something inspired by where I lived—something design-led, personal, and deeply connected to the flavors and stories of this city. That’s when the idea began to take shape: food tours, but not the usual kind.
Think: walking routes guided by sightlines, not sidewalks.
Think: paths that unfold with purpose.
Think: each bite a quiet tribute to Doha’s layered soul.
Our first guests—a Swiss family in town for a sports event—booked before we even had a website. No mic, no script; just the city, the food, and the belief that good design and good hosting belong together. By the time we said goodbye, they were already writing a five-star review that set the tone for every encounter to come.
